of the unfathomably gracious
Guru Rinpoche.

LAMA TSONDRU

Lama Tsondru is the spiritual director of Thupten Ling Dharma Center, a master thangka painter, and founder of
Samten Chopug Monastery and the Traditional Tibetan Thangka
Painting School in India.

ART OF THANGKA

Thangkas are traditionally used as objects of devotion or as an aid to spiritual practice, and are a blessing to all who see them. The art form dates back over 2500 years and depicts deities in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
